Educational Guide

Cricket Betting Guide for Pakistani Fans

Cricket is the heartbeat of Pakistan sports. From ICC World Cups and Asia Cup clashes to the high-voltage drama of PSL in Multan and Rawalpindi, there's almost always a match on. Here's a plain-English overview of the most common market types you'll encounter when betting on cricket.

Note: 966pak provides educational information about cricket betting markets. References to Pakistan cricket, PSL and ICC tournaments are for sports context only and do not imply any official partnership with the PCB, any PSL franchise, the ICC or any national team.

Play Responsibly. Cricket betting can be exciting, but it should always stay within your budget. Set a limit before any match, never chase a losing session, and take breaks. If betting stops being fun, it's time to stop.

Common Cricket Betting Markets
🏆 Match Winner
Predict which team wins the match. Simplest and most popular market.
🪙 Toss Winner
Bet on which captain wins the toss. Independent of the match result.
🏏 Top Batter
Select who scores the most runs for a given team in the match or innings.
🎳 Top Bowler
Predict which bowler takes the most wickets in an innings or match.
📊 Total Runs
Over/Under on total runs scored in a match, innings or a specific over.
📡 Live / In-Play
Markets that update ball by ball. Odds shift dynamically as the match unfolds.
👤 Player Performance
Individual milestones — e.g., will a batter score a fifty or century in this match?
🔢 Team Totals
Bet specifically on one team's run total for the innings, not the combined score.

Play Smart, Play Safe

Responsible Gambling

966pak is committed to promoting responsible gambling. Gambling is meant to be entertainment — not a way to make money or solve financial problems. If it stops being fun, stop playing.

💰
Budget Limits

Set a deposit limit before you start. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose — never use rent, groceries or utility money for gambling.

⏰
Time Limits

Use session timers and reality-check tools available in your account settings. Take regular breaks — set a time limit and stick to it.

📉
Loss Limits

Set daily, weekly or monthly loss limits. Once your limit is reached, stop. Loss limits protect you from impulsive decisions during a losing session.

🚫
Self-Exclusion

You can request self-exclusion from the platform at any time. This tool blocks access for a set period — use it if you feel gambling is becoming a problem.

🔄
No Chasing Losses

Chasing losses is one of the most dangerous gambling behaviours. If you've hit your limit, log out. A loss cannot be "recovered" by more gambling.

🆘
Seek Help

If gambling is negatively affecting your life, relationships or finances, reach out to a trusted person or a gambling support organisation in your region.

🔞 Adults 18+ Only

Gambling on 966pak is strictly for adults aged 18 or over — or the higher minimum required by the operator/license jurisdiction. Being 18+ does not make gambling legal in Pakistan. Local laws, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977, may restrict gambling activities. Users are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.

Our Story

About 966pak

966pak was built for Pakistani players who want a fast, transparent and feature-rich online gaming experience in their own language and currency. The platform brings together sports betting — with a strong focus on cricket, PSL and ICC tournaments — alongside a full live casino, slots library and esports wagering. Everything is designed for mobile-first access, because we know most players in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad are on their phones.

Our mission is straightforward: give Pakistani users clear, honest information about online gaming options — transparent terms, fair odds, well-documented bonus conditions and accessible support. We don't make inflated promises. What we offer is a well-organised platform with proper responsible gambling tools and English-language content written for a local audience.

966pak does not claim to hold a Pakistan gambling license, nor does it represent that online gambling is legal under Pakistani law. Users are responsible for ensuring their activity complies with applicable laws in their jurisdiction. For questions about the platform, terms or responsible play, explore the sections above or contact our support team.
